We're moving!

We've been MIA mostly due to our pending move.  I'm up to my eyeballs in the chaos of moving...boxes, bags, JUNK, you know...the usual.  I didn't imagine tackling a move in my third trimester but we have gracious families and friends who've already been so helpful!  We appreciate you all!

Thankful

"But we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise."
Psalm 79:13

I am thankful for:
* 80 candles on a birthday cake
* Precious hugs from grandmas
* Sisters and growing babies
* Great men in flannel...and men with babies zipped up in their jackets
* Greek Festivals
* Two legs that work and wheelchairs for when they don't
* Mojo Pork, yum!
* An abundance of rain
* Dads and their daughters
* Early mornings by the river

What are you thankful for today?

A Lovely Weekend in Asheville

We have been busy!  I certainly don't want to make this statement a regular part of my vocabulary...but as of late...it's TRUE!  We've had too much on our plate.  Not to mention planning for baby.  At our church home group last night, someone shared a passage from Hebrews.  It was cool water for a thirsty soul.

"So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore strive to enter that rest..."
Hebrews 4: 9-11

In the midst of chaos, I managed to get away with some dear friends to celebrate Erin's birthday.  We had a nice time in Asheville enjoying the cool Fall weather, eating good food, talking for hours, eating more food, and talking some more.  I am so thankful for these ladies!

Happy birthday Cooms!

We enjoyed our Papas and Beer...well no beer for me.

Oh my!  It was divine!

I wasn't kidding about the food...love Tupelo Honey Cafe!

Asheville has the cutest shops.  We like this bookstore.

Reading recipes from Tupelo Honey!!
Right after lunch:)

Beautiful Ridgecrest

Precious friends!
